Ammar Hussein

I am the founder and sole proprietor of Rimawi Law Professional Corporation. Born in Toronto, raised in Newmarket, I now call the Quinte area home. Its beauty and charm is irresistible. I devote my practice to helping people who find themselves vulnerable and caught up in the legal process. Whether its against the big bad insurance company or your ex partner, I am there to provide compassionate and zealous advocacy on your behalf.

My practice areas include personal injury, family, insurance disputes, employment, contract/commercial disputes, long term disability and divorce. I appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, the Divisional Court level of the Superior Court of Justice as well as before administrative tribunals.

I obtained my undergraduate degree from York University and my Juris Doctor degree (2012) from the Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. While studying law, Florida Coastal recognized me for my volunteer hours at school and in the community.

Following law school, I returned to Ontario where I articled at a small personal injury firm in Vaughan, Ontario. Following my articles, I accepted an associate position at Bonn Law in Trenton, Ontario before founding my own practice in 2017.

Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active by playing, soccer, hockey, softball, volleyball and golf. I am a passionate Leafs, Raptors, TFC and Blue Jays fan. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially my 6 nephews.

I am a member of the Law Society of Ontario and a proud board member of the Hastings County Law Association.
